I am a guitarist, composer, and improviser. I have collaborated, recorded, and performed, in Europe and the UK, with musicians from the worlds of jazz, classical, folk, and world music. My  solo performances defy easy categorization, weaving together the many strands of my own musical journey. I have performed throughout my professional life, as a solo artist and in collaboration with professional musicians from the UK, USA, and India.  I've led Arts Council England backed tours, performing at numerous festivals and venues including: The International Guitar Festival of Great Britain, the Manchester International Jazz Festival, the Wigan International Jazz Festival, and a live performance with Indian Sitar virtuoso Partha Bose on BBC Radio.

I have, so far, recorded four albums: 'Snaizeholme', 'Living Music', 'Mosaic', and, most recently, 'Solo Acoustic Guitar'. I also pulled together many of my thoughts on improvisation in my instructional book 'Improvisation For Classical, Fingerstyle And Jazz Guitar.'

I am an established guitar tutor having, over the years taught many hundreds of students both privately, in schools, colleges, and group workshops.

Other activities have included composing, arranging, and recording, guitar, and string section accompaniments, in collaboration with songwriters, and theatre producers.
